Gameplay Programmer

I went to school at Full Sail University for game development, Computer Science Bachelor degree. I got interested in video games from an early age starting off with some of my favorite games Unreal Tournament and Battlefield 1942. From then on I knew that I wanted to be the one making these games that could make people smile, cry and get angry at. I have always found math fun and easy and 3D vector math is no exception. After graduating college I was able to get a position at Armature Studios. Where I worked on Resident Evil 4 VR helping with gameplay interactions for players. Puzzles, buttons, switches, cranks, valves, you name an interaction in the game and I most likely had a hand in building it. After RE4 Meta acquired Armature Studios and we began work on a VR fencing demo. I worked on custom collision, sounds, and an AI opponent. Much of that time was spend creating an AI opponent that could competently fight the player in a fencing match. This demo was not released publicly but it was showcased on the quest pro with mixed reality support and played publicly by Mark Zuckerberg. We transitioned the fencing demo to an unreleased Star Wars title where I worked mostly on the player interactions with the lightsabers. I handled throwing, controlling, collision, and networking for the lightsabers.
